Supplemental legal terms
Third-Party App Terms
These terms explain what happens when a Customer connects an external marketplace, payment account, shipping provider, carrier, or other application to BiFrostIT.
1. Scope and incorporated terms
These Third-Party App Terms apply when a Customer connects, enables, purchases, or uses a third-party application, account, marketplace, payment service, shipping provider, carrier, data source, or other integration through BiFrostIT (each, a “Third-Party App”).
These terms supplement the BiFrostIT Terms of Service. Provider-specific terms, privacy notices, acceptable-use rules, program requirements, carrier conditions, and transaction policies may also apply. If a provider requires direct acceptance, the Customer must accept and comply with those terms before or while using the Third-Party App.
Enabling a Third-Party App authorizes BiFrostIT to perform the enabled connection and the activities reasonably necessary to provide it, subject to the permissions shown during setup and these terms.
2. Authority and account ownership
The person enabling a Third-Party App represents that they are authorized by the Customer and by the owner of the connected third-party account to grant access, accept applicable terms, instruct transactions, and bind the Customer to charges and obligations arising from that connection.
The Customer remains responsible for its third-party accounts, authorized users, credentials, permissions, account settings, legal eligibility, verification information, and compliance status.
BiFrostIT does not become the owner of a connected account, the seller or merchant for the Customer’s goods or services, the carrier, or the Customer’s legal, tax, customs, insurance, or compliance adviser merely because it provides an integration.
3. Access, credentials, and instructions
A connection may use OAuth grants, API tokens, account identifiers, webhooks, signing secrets, or other credentials. Customers must use supported authorization methods, protect credentials within their control, and promptly disconnect access or notify BiFrostIT if compromise or unauthorized activity is suspected.
The Customer authorizes BiFrostIT to retrieve, create, update, transmit, reconcile, display, and store information through the scopes and features the Customer enables. Actions initiated by an Authorized User or an enabled automation are treated as the Customer’s instructions.
Customers must review settings, mappings, listings, rates, labels, transactions, and automated actions before relying on them. The Customer is responsible for errors caused by its data, configuration, instructions, permissions, or failure to review an action that BiFrostIT clearly presented for confirmation.
BiFrostIT will not request a third-party username or password when the provider requires token-based authorization. Customers may not share provider credentials in an unsupported field or communication.
4. Third-party data and privacy
Third-party data may include account and representative information, product and listing content, orders, buyer or recipient contact and shipping information, inventory, transactions, disputes, refunds, shipment details, labels, tracking events, rates, risk signals, and other records supported by the enabled connection.
The Customer instructs BiFrostIT to exchange this information with the applicable provider only as necessary to operate the enabled connection, provide requested support, maintain security and audit records, comply with law, and enforce applicable agreements.
The Customer must provide required privacy notices and obtain all rights, permissions, and consents necessary for BiFrostIT and the provider to lawfully collect, use, transmit, retain, and disclose information through the connection.
Marketplace buyer and shipment-recipient information may be used only for the authorized transaction, fulfillment, support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and other purposes permitted by the originating provider. It may not be repurposed for independent marketing or unrelated profiling unless the Customer has a separate lawful basis and the provider’s rules permit it.
5. Fees, balances, and adjustments
Third-Party Apps may impose provider fees, processing fees, postage, carrier charges, taxes, duties, insurance premiums, usage charges, platform fees, or other pass-through costs. BiFrostIT fees and third-party charges will be identified separately where practical or consolidated when the provider’s structure requires it.
Displayed rates may be estimates. Providers and carriers may later impose address-correction fees, dimensional-weight adjustments, fuel or residential surcharges, duties, taxes, penalties, chargebacks, dispute losses, negative-balance debits, or other post-transaction adjustments.
The Customer authorizes collection from its selected payment method, connected balance, or other disclosed funding source for confirmed purchases and valid adjustments. Credits and refunds remain subject to the originating provider’s rules and may not be immediately available.
6. Availability, changes, and suspension
A provider may change its APIs, terms, eligibility rules, rates, data fields, permissions, certification requirements, or availability at any time. BiFrostIT may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue a connection when necessary to comply with those changes, protect data or systems, prevent misuse, or preserve access to the provider.
BiFrostIT does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, completeness, timing, or continued compatibility of a Third-Party App or third-party data. Customers should use the provider’s system of record to confirm time-sensitive, financial, legal, marketplace, or shipment information.
BiFrostIT may disable a connection or related automation if the Customer’s use violates applicable law, these terms, provider rules, carrier restrictions, or another person’s rights, or creates a security, fraud, operational, or compliance risk.
7. eBay
A Customer using the eBay connection must maintain an eligible eBay account and comply with the eBay User Agreement, selling and listing policies, payments terms, and other rules applicable to its marketplace activity.
The Customer remains the seller of record and is responsible for the legality, accuracy, completeness, pricing, inventory, condition, images, descriptions, intellectual-property rights, shipping promises, fulfillment, taxes, returns, refunds, customer service, and regulatory compliance of its listings and sales, including content created or modified with BiFrostIT or other automated tools.
Access to eBay content and APIs is limited, revocable, and provided only to facilitate authorized use of eBay services. The Customer may not scrape, resell, disclose, retain, combine, or use eBay content or personal information beyond the enabled transaction and purposes permitted by eBay.
To the extent BiFrostIT permits the Customer to display or use eBay content through the connection, the Customer agrees to be bound by the applicable eBay API License Agreement provisions. eBay is an intended third-party beneficiary of this eBay-specific sublicense and may enforce it directly. The sublicense may be revoked at any time.
eBay may limit API calls, change or suspend developer tools, audit compliance, restrict an application, or terminate access. BiFrostIT may take corresponding action without liability for the resulting unavailability, subject to non-waivable law.
Current eBay terms are available through the eBay User Agreement and eBay Developers Program API License Agreement. eBay is not affiliated with or responsible for BiFrostIT unless expressly stated by eBay.
8. Envia.com, shipping providers, and carriers
A Customer using Envia.com or another shipping connection must comply with the provider’s terms and the selected carrier’s service guide, tariffs, prohibited-and-restricted-item rules, packaging standards, insurance conditions, customs requirements, and claims procedures.
The Customer is the shipper and is responsible for accurate origin, destination, recipient, package contents, dimensions, weight, value, classification, customs, dangerous-goods, and service information; lawful tender of the shipment; suitable packaging; and any required licenses, declarations, or documentation.
Rates, transit times, pickup availability, tracking events, and delivery estimates are supplied by providers or carriers and are not guaranteed by BiFrostIT. A purchased label does not guarantee carrier acceptance, delivery by an estimated date, successful customs clearance, or coverage of a loss.
Cancellation, refund, insurance, loss, damage, delay, non-delivery, and claim eligibility are determined under the provider’s and carrier’s rules. The Customer must preserve evidence and submit complete claim information within applicable deadlines.
Current Envia.com terms, privacy notices, and shipping restrictions are available on Envia.com. Envia.com and participating carriers are independent providers and are not responsible for BiFrostIT unless they expressly agree otherwise.
9. Stripe and payment services
Customers enabling Stripe or other payment functionality must comply with the separate BiFrostIT Payment Services and Stripe Connect Terms, the applicable Stripe Connected Account Agreement and Stripe Services Agreement, and any payment-method or financial-network rules that apply.
The Customer remains responsible for its goods and services, customers, receipts, refunds, complaints, disputes, taxes, legal registration, required notices and consents, and the accuracy and completeness of information supplied to BiFrostIT or Stripe.
Stripe and BiFrostIT may exchange connected-account, representative, customer, transaction, dispute, refund, fraud, risk, and compliance information as described in the Payment Services Terms and Privacy Policy.
10. Disconnection and data handling
A Customer may disconnect a Third-Party App through available settings, the provider, or BiFrostIT support, subject to account-owner authority, unpaid obligations, provider restrictions, and actions already submitted for processing.
Disconnection stops new synchronization after it takes effect but does not reverse completed transactions or require deletion of records that BiFrostIT or a provider must retain for security, audit, dispute, tax, financial, contractual, or legal purposes.
Provider content and personal information that is no longer authorized or required will be deleted, de-identified, or isolated according to applicable provider requirements, BiFrostIT retention practices, and law.
11. Changes and contact
BiFrostIT may update these terms when providers, laws, platform features, or data practices change. Material changes will be handled under the notice and acceptance provisions of the BiFrostIT Terms of Service.
Questions about a BiFrostIT connection may be sent to support@bifrostit.com. Customers should contact the applicable provider for matters controlled solely by that provider or its account.
